Popular basketball
brand Spalding has again come up with a novelty item designed for high-caliber
competitive indoor play.
Called the
"Platinum ZK Legacy and the TF-1000 legacy", the basketballs are both
approved by the NBA and the FIBA as they allow moisture to easily spread and
dissipate on the surface of the ball, giving players a more stable and firmer
grip even during a sweaty game.
The latest Legacy
basketballs are distributed locally by Proline Sports Center.
The new basketballs
also have deep channels to provide better handling, full ball pebbling and soft
carcass.
The unique feature
can be tested simply putting a few drops of water on the surface of the ball
and see how moisture is spread on the ball surface.
